Description
The Orange Herbal dark Pu-erh tea is made by placing ripened and aged Pu-erh tea leaves in the scooped out place within an orange peel. As a result you get a tangy, fruity and excellent blend of aroma and flavour. Made by a rather creative process, the Orange Herbal dark Pu-erh tea is quite a classic choice due to its flavour and herbal characteristics. Ripened herbal Pu-erh leaves are left to age and mixed with Chenpi or orange peel. Quite an interesting melange if you ask us. But wait, it isn’t as seamless as we made it sound above. There’s more work to be done. The pulp of an orange is scooped out and this melange is then placed between the orange peel. This hitherto unimaginable combination of Pu-erh tea leaves and Chenpi blends into each other to create a really unique concoction of taste and fragrance. Fermented Pu-erh leaves are known to have healing capabilities and are especially effective during winter season as they have the tendency to warm you up. Orange peels have a similar effect, apart from being good for digestion. As a combination this tea is exceptionally good for health and well-being. When brewed, it is natural that the tea possesses an ‘orangy’ flavour, which can be enhanced by adding a few pieces of the actual fruit to the brew. A classic coming together of two different flavours in one harmonious beverage. * Tastes better if steeped using natural mineral water (ph8) *
