Orpat OPH-1240 1800-Watt PTC Heater is a self-regulating room heater that helps vanquish the chills of a dreary winter. You can carry it wherever you want as it comes with a convenient handle. The heater consists of a PTC ceramic heating element, so its resistance increases with increase in temperature and never surpasses the intended room temperature. Due to this inherent property, the active heating element acts as a thermostat on its own and doesnt need any supporting temperature regulating device. When the temperature or current rises beyond the preset threshold, current is automatically cut-off. An additional safety tip-over switch is provided to switch off the heater when it is accidentally knocked over. Its wide angle auto-oscillation function distributes heat uniformly and makes you feel warm and cozy. It includes a power-on indicator that glows when the heater is turned on. It also comes with a safety mesh grill that prevents accidental contact with the heating element. Unlike fan-based heaters, this heater does not produce any noise due to the absence of moving parts. The Orpat OPH-1240 PTC Heater can be adjusted to operate at two heat settings with a power consumption of 1200W and 1800W. It is driven by a powerful motor with copper wire wound around its core.
