Gensho Green Tea is a specialty whole leaf tea created by bringing together select fresh tea leaves from the Blue Nilgiris Mountains. Each, delicately handled, tea leaf is steamed using traditional Japanese techniques to preserve their flavour, fragrance, colour, and nutrients. This is where Genshos rarity stems from: In the purity of its ingredients, in its unprocessed sublimity, in its unique, delightfully-herbaceous, slightly sweet and nutty flavour. Gensho, in Zen philosophy means profound nature, and the vibrant green leaves of Gensho tea and the bright golden green of a steeped cup, are testimony to that. Our teas taste best in their natural form, without any milk or sugar. A little milk and sugar or honey and lime can be added to complement your taste preferences.
