The Orient Actus DI1003P Dry Iron has an integrated fuse along with a thermostat, which ensures additional safety. The silver lining of this integrated fuse is provided to disconnect power to the irons heating element on the occasion of any malfunction. Thus, it prevents the temperature from rising which might result in a short circuit. This ISI approved iron requires 1000 watts to operate.
