The cyclonic steam chamber ensures that, at a gentle temperature, consistently high steam can be delivered at the push of a button, where other steam generators at the same temperature would leak or deliver little to no steam. The control processor keeps the soleplate at a consistent temperature at all times, which makes it safe to use on all ironable fabrics, never being too hot or too cold.Earlier irons used a hot soleplate alone as a means of removing creases and pressing garments. Later, the addition of a steam feature allowed for ironing with greater ease and speed, but required different temperature settings for different fabrics. Different temperature settings also interfered with the iron’s ability to deliver steam. The higher the temperature, the more steam was possible, but the lower the temperature, the poorer the steam output.Because of this, all irons and steam generators work with a soleplate of up to 260 degrees to generate enough steam.
