This weather resistant device, which can be installed outside of buildings as well, will switch on the electrical lights connected with it when natural light gets darker and will switch off the lights automatically as soon as natural light brightens up It can bear contact current (Inrush) load up to 400 watts (Max.). IMPORTANT NOTE: Contact current load of 400 watts (Max.) is for normal lights with filaments. In case of LED lights with drivers, calculate Inrush/Start up current (consumed for charging internal capacitor in drivers) which is much more (depending on the manufacturer, model, efficiency, quality of drivers) than the continuous current rating (watts) mentioned on the LED lights. Example: 50-Watt LED light: Equivalent startup/inrush current load is (aprox.) 370 Watts. Therefore, please check and calculate current load that can be found in datasheet of such LED lights accordingly before attempting to purchase or install this gadget.
