Description
Our Tea Leaves are plucked at the crack of dawn and steamed immediately to arrest fermentation that is the secret of our green colour. Then the leaves are rolled in 16 mini rollers without applying any weight. The leaves get laced with the juices under their own weight, in the well of the rolling table. This avoids rupturing of leaves which in turn avoids fermentation. Then the rolled teas are dried at 80-85C very slowly in tray dryers for over 2 hours. This is done on the banks of ABA river in the old traditional thatch houses. Then the Abali Organic Teas are sent Saharia Organic Farm, Jaipur Rajasthan where we have over a thousand Organic Desi Rose Plants. Again at sunrise we mix organic rose petals with the Abali Green Teas and store it underground for 10-15 days. Here only the fragrance is transferred from rose to green tea. Thus making it one of its kind in the industry.
