Description
Grape seed is highly rich in antioxidants. The extract has been associated with a wide range of possible remedial properties. Grape seed extract is a blending of a complex mixture of flavonoids, Vitamin E, linoleic acid, and phenolic procyanidins. These mixtures can also be found in the skins and juices of the fruit. The active agents of the extract are mostly polyphenols or OPCs (oligomeric procyanidins), which is usually the commercial reason why grape seeds are being extracted.
